What Tablet/Pad do you use?
So a friend and I have a bunch of ideas about making a web comic of our own.
I have read what everyone uses software wise so far, and have the software taken care of.
But what pad/tablets do you use and or recommend? I have read a bunch of reviews, but most are vague. I was thinking of something along the size of 6x8, not the smallest but not the biggest. The large ones are a bit out of my price range at the moment.
Any and all suggestions/advice would be most welcome!

Re: What Tablet/Pad do you use?
I had a small pen tablet, roughly 6x8 or so. it worked okay but you'll end up zooming in and out a lot.
then i upgraded and got the largest size available. It is useful when I am going for details, but extremely cumbersome to use. In fact sometimes I don't feel like drawing because of the pad size. I would go with something in the middle.
I also use intuos, which is okay if you have the patience and hand eye coordination. Farva's pen tab (i forgot what its called) is much better and if I get another pen tablet I will be getting one of those.

Re: What Tablet/Pad do you use?
God, that's funny, because I came in to do a word on tablets and here this thread is...
One thing you'll find is most of us do use tablets of some sort or another. Wacom is the brand of choice, and is the only brand I've ever used.
I know Beetle uses a pretty big Intuos. Not sure what Tim uses, specifically. I use a Cintiq.
I started with a very small (the smallest on the market) Graphire 3, but you never saw a comic I drew with it, because I hated it. I absolutely could not get used to looking at the screen and drawing in front of me, but many have. Hell, Beetle does an awesome job with his, and Tim is getting the hang of it.
You could say I cheat by using a screen, but whatever: it's a miracle piece of hardware. If you can, buy a Cintiq. No questions about it.
